MRS BUKOLA ODUNSI – H.O.D MONITORING AND EVALUATION

Mrs. Bukola  Iretiola  Odunsi (Nee: Oyedele) was born in Surulere, Lagos on the 25th of August, 1972.

She completed both her primary and secondary education in Lagos State before proceeding to bag a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ogun State University (now: Olabisi Onabanjo University) in 1998.  She observed her National Youth Service at Queens School Ibadan as an Economic Teacher from 1998- 1999. Thereafter she proceeded to Lagos State University and obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration (International Studies) in year 2004.

She joined the Lagos State Civil Service as an Inspector of Taxes II in year 2000 under the Board of Internal Revenue where she over saw numerous responsibilities including tax drive and tax auditing in her quest to generating revenue for the State Government.

Mrs. Odunsi was deployed to the Ministry of Home Affairs and Culture in year 2005 where she undertook administrative duties in the Finance & Administration Department before her re-designation as a Planning Officer effective from year 2006. Her mark of achievement culminated in her being approved to be redeployed to the Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) in the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget in year 2010 where She has been discharging her duties as an Officer in EIU using empirical research and impact assessment to provide policy advise, support, analysis and review to policy decision makers.

Mrs. Odunsi rose to the position of Assistant Director in 2018 and is presently the Head of Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Department in Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment.
