
Lagos State Government has, once again, reiterated its commitment to provide strategic and sustainable empowerment for all categories of Artisans in the State, including post-NYSC graduates.
Speaking at the Nigeria Britain Association (N-BA) Annual Lecture Series held recently in Lagos, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu stated that the training programmes are designed for a duration of three to six months in the first instance.
Sanwo-Olu, represented at the event by the Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Hon. Akinyemi Ajigbotafe, further stated that the Lagos State Government intends to partner with KPMG to achieve a robust training programme for the participants.
According to the Governor, the training would also include post-NYSC graduates whom the Government plans to train and send on internship programmes with a view to securing excellent jobs and sustainable means of livelihood.
